For separation of monosaccharides, oligosaccharides, carboxylic acids and alcohols

column counter ion characteristics

MCI GEL CK08S
MCI GEL CK08E
Na+

General type of sugar separation columns like Ca form column (below).
Retention times are rather small.

MCI GEL CK08EC
Ca2+ Most general type of sugar separation column.
Recommended for analyzing fructose-glucose syrups etc.

MCI GEL CK08ES
Ag+ Molecular sieving effect is involved in separation mechanism.
Suitable for separation based on the difference in molecular weight.
MCI GEL CK08EH H+ Suitable for organic acids separation with diluted phosphoric acid as eluent.
Substances which decompose under acidic conditions should not be applied to this column.

Separation for oligosaccharides

Possible discrimination for degrees of polymerization
